"Will one night with an older woman change everything?

After finding the love of his life in bed with someone else, twenty-six-year-old Seth Reynolds wanted a fresh start and found it in Jamaica. Being a bartender at one of the island’s exclusive resorts has its perks… not the least of them being a very sexy, older woman: Sylvia Radcliff. While she’s determined to celebrate her forty-fifth birthday, Seth is equally determined to seduce the most enchanting woman he’s ever met." ~From Goodreads

Super short story of a young man having one tangled sheets weekend that changes his life.

The plot is very simple indeed, basically it feels like Ryan is telling this as story to his mates with all the x-rated fun thrown in the mix. It's not really romantic, expect it ends happily - romantically. It's way too short for my liking - I think it should have been at the heat level it was but longer or the length it was but more erotica. I had a hard time figuring out word count and steaminess ratio. That said, it was hot, but without the story building to it it didn't really do it for me.

I've been talking about what didn't work, but even with all those this short story was good, it had a strapping young man falling for a woman who was much older than him. It's hard to put a love story in 12 pages for sure, but Tropical Cougar did manage to have a warm tone to it and I found it interesting the story was solely from Ryan's point of view.

I'll just say it one more time. ;) I wanted it to be longer, to delve into the emotions of both of them to have been more my alley.
